Successfully (whatever that may mean) or unsuccessfully, we all overact the part of our favorite character in fiction.

I got into comics on John Byrne’s run of the X-Men and the Dark Phoenix Saga. I got in around X-Men 95, right when it turned to the new X-Men. So that whole family, all those characters are kind of my favorite characters, just the X-Men world.

Picking one of your favorite creation or character is like picking the best one of your children! I’m not sure it really works. My very favorite characters tend to be ones I can go back to and look at, and have no idea how they popped out of my head.

I was the biggest Harry Potter fan. I read all the books. Ron was always my favorite character, because I feel like I relate to him, like weve both got red hair, we both like sweets, weve both got lots of brothers and sisters. Ive got one brother and three sisters, and both scared of spiders.

I enjoy Modern Family very much. Good TV program. I don’t know why. I just find that so many of the jokes land. So many of the actors are so great. Phil Dunphy is one of my favorite characters ever.

My favorite characters are people who think they’re normal but they’re not. I live in Baltimore, and it’s full of people like that. I’ve also lived in New York, which is full of people who think they’re crazy, but they’re completely normal.

I always wished there was somebody like the Coen Brothers and they appeared. And so yeah, my favorite role that I’ve ever done was in The Man Who Wasn’t There. That’s my very favorite character I’ve ever played.

You know, I’ve always wrote my best stuff when it takes me hardly any time at all. Actually I wrote…..this is actually a really funny story…’Ghost Of Vincent Price‘, I’ve been wanting to write a song about Vincent Price coz he‘s one of my favorite characters of all time.

Trish “Patsy” Walker is just one of my favorite characters and she was a big comic character in the ’40s.
