I didn’t see any NRA officials killing babies in Waco.

Politicians pass laws for gun-free school zones. They issue press releases bragging about them. They post signs advertising them, and in doing so, they tell every insane killer in America that schools are the safest place to inflict maximum mayhem with minimum risk.

Who is the NRA anyway? They are usually middle-income people who only think of themselves, who want to have no government, really, except self-rule by themselves. I think that little cracks are starting to emerge in the NRA armor.

The NRA is weakening but the opposing forces are stronger. A member of Congress has and still does pay a price for voting against the NRA. But now a member pays a price for voting with the NRA, too. In many districts, the price is higher when a member votes with the NRA than against the NRA. The public is outraged.

At some level, Trump is more radical than the NRA. In the wake of Orlando, he was calling on people to walk into bars fully armed as a means to prevent future tragedies.

The NRA was one of the items that we pointed to when we added money to the labor, health and Education appropriations bill by reducing the size of the tax cut.

Well, you know, first of all, let me just say that I am a proud member of the NRA and have been, and I’m a lifetime member and will always be.

Jesus is not from Georgia. Jesus does not speak English. And Jesus is not a member of the NRA.

The fights I fought… cost a lot –the fight for the assault-weapons ban cost 20 members their seats in Congress. The NRA is the reason the Republicans control the House.

The NRA appears to have evolved into the lobby for gun and ammunition manufacturers rather than gun owners.

I understand that Donald‘s [Trump] been strongly supported by the NRA. The gun lobby’s on his side. They’re running millions of dollars of ads against me.

Lip-synching?! Let that be a lesson. If you are in Washington, D.C., and you open your mouth and another voice comes out, it better be the NRA, an oil company or a bank.

The NRA provided that in America each industry should be organized into a federally supervised trade association. It was not called a corporative. It was called a Code Authority.

We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts. I support them. I won‘t chip away at them. I believe they help protect us and provide for our safety. I’m sure my positions won’t make me the hero of the NRA.

I would rather be the candidate of the NAACP than the NRA.

I am in support of the NRA position on gun control.

These code authorities could regulate production, quantities, qualities, prices, distribution methods, etc., under the supervision of the NRA. This was fascism.

In a recent attack ad, the NRA claims that President Obama cares about his own children more than he cares about other children. In response, President Obama was like, ‘Yeah, that’s how families work.’

When a person is on a watch list or a no-fly list, and I have the endorsement of the NRA, which I’m very proud of. These are very, very good people, and they’re protecting the Second Amendment.

The NRA made an ad saying that Obama is elitist because his kids have armed guards. Yeah, that crazy Obama thinking his kids need special protection. I love the NRA accusing anyone of being paranoid. It’s like a septic tank saying, ‘You need a mint.’

I’m an NRA-certified Expert Rifleman.

But there are 90 million gun owners in the United States. Only 3.5 million want the insurance and magazines and the various things you get for joining the NRA.

NRA – Nuts Running America.

I’m not in the leftist controlled Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because of my political views, primarily my lifelong militant support of the NRA, the Second Amendment, and my belief that the only good bad guy is a dead bad guy.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

I don’t know how anybody can say that who looks at what’s happening to our young people and what’s happening to our country, all because of guns. The NRA is putting themselves in a position where people will no longer trust them. They’ve been trusted in the past, but now their credibility is on the line.

I support the work of the NRA, but disagree sometimes.

I look forward to working with the NRA to come up with ways in which we can use common sense approaches to reduce the level of violence that we see – in our streets, and make the American people as safe as they possibly can be.

I don’t know if Hillary [Clinton] was saying it in a sarcastic manner, but I’m very proud to have the endorsement of the NRA.

When I sat there in 1971 and watched my grandfather open Walt Disney World, I was a little 11-year-old girl who worshiped the ground he walked on. You probably couldn’t have found much daylight between the NRA and the Disney company.

In 1999, the NRA leadership in Washington, pretty much the same people intact, were for (expanded background checks.)

The problem is, that we’ve got a position, often times by the NRA that says any regulation whatsoever is the camel‘s nose under the tent. And that, I think, is not where the American people are at.

The NRA is right…handgun controls do little to stop criminals from obtaining handguns.
