The past is over; the present is fleeting; we live in the future.

You must put fear out of your mind. Confront it with the belief that the past is over with, that a new life lies ahead.

I think we agree, THE PAST IS OVER.

When you think about it in the big scheme of things our time together is like a dash of spice in a big cosmic soup – important for richness of flavor but still not quite the main ingredient. The past is over. It can’t and shouldn’t be reclaimed. All we ever have is now anyway.

When guilt rears its ugly head confront it, discuss it and let it go. The past is over. It is time to ask what can we do right, not what did we do wrong. Forgive yourself and move on.

The past has no power over the present moment.

The past is over and done and cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience.

The past is over… forget it. The future holds hope… reach for it.

Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed.

The past is over, so it has no power now. The thoughts of this moment create my future.

You have risen with all power in Your hands. You have given me a second chance. Hallelujah, hallelujah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I’m not going back, I’m moving ahead. Here to declare to You my past is over in You. All things are made new, surrendered my life to Christ. I’m moving, moving forward.

I always think that I love doing what I’m doing at the moment. The past is over. I can’t go play one of those characters again. But I can play this and I can continue to grow in what I’m doing at the moment and that’s really what I’m thinking about now.

Pause and remember – The past is over and it cannot be changed, fixed or undone by continuing to think about it. The quicker we can get over our mistakes, understand the lessons and move forward, the healthier we become to ourselves and everyone around us!

I tell you the past is a bucket of ashes, so live not in your yesterdays, no just for tomorrow, but in the here and now. Keep moving and forget the post mortems; and remember, no one can get the jump on the future.
